Rice Magazine — 
The Research Issue
Rice Magazine is the flagship print and online publication of Rice University and is distributed quarterly to 60,000 alumni, staff, faculty, parents of undergraduates, donors, and community leaders. The University contracted MWM to provide art direction and layout design for the 53-page feature well of its Spring 2024 Research-themed issue. Our charge was to establish a unique and dynamic design befitting of its theme, highlighting Rice’s cutting-edge research and forward-thinking researchers, and generating excitement about some of the University’s most impressive initiatives. The MWM team worked closely with the editorial staff throughout the revision and proofing cycles to ensure all assets were delivered by the print deadline.
